Concerns have grown over the whereabouts of Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, after his family officially declared him missing and took steps to locate him.

A petition reportedly filed by the Idibia family went viral on social media on February 14, 2025, revealing that they had sought the intervention of the Department of State Services (DSS) in finding the singer. According to reports, 2Baba has been missing since February 10, 2025, after he left home in loungewear, suggesting he was going for a walk. However, he has not returned, and all efforts to reach him by his family and staff have been unsuccessful.

Adding to their distress, the family disclosed that messages were being sent from 2Baba’s social media accounts, soliciting money from people. Given the singer’s history of financial independence, they fear he may have been abducted and that someone is attempting to exploit his contacts for financial gain.

As of now, no official statement has been released by 2Baba’s management, and fans across the country remain anxious as efforts to locate the singer continue.
