The Pittsburgh Steelers have released an updated depth chart for Week 18 ahead of their final game of the regular season against the Baltimore Ravens. Dylan Cook headlines the changes as the team’s new starting left tackle.

The Steelers are usually slow and resist making changes on the depth chart, so moves like these are notable. Cook finally leapfrogged Andrus Peat on the list to reflect what has been happening in-game.

Dylan Cook has been starting there since Peat’s concussion and played well enough to hold down the starting job once Peat returned. Cook was the fourth-string left tackle to start the season on the practice squad and is now giving them their best play of the year at the position.

There’s a non-zero chance that he is given a shot to compete with Broderick Jones for the starting left tackle job in training camp next year. If he gets that opportunity, he might even have the inside track to win it.

That would be pretty impressive for a former NAIA quarterback-turned undrafted tackle, especially considering his competition against a top 15 pick. At the very least, he has solidified himself as the top tackle depth for 2026.

Peat will still have a role, especially if Isaac Seumalo’s triceps injury doesn’t heal in time for Week 18. They will have to get creative with the jumbo package after Darnell Washington’s fractured forearm and reported surgery to repair it on Tuesday. If the Steelers make the playoffs, Washington could be removed (and replaced) on the next depth chart.

DK Metcalf’s removal and CB Tre Flowers’ addition is the other move on the chart this week. Metcalf is suspended and will not show back up on the depth chart until next week if the Steelers beat the Ravens and qualify for the playoffs. Flowers provides additional CB depth, but they might not need it if James Pierre and Brandin Echols return to full health this week. Flowers is listed behind Joey Porter Jr. and Echols as the third-string RCB.
