Manchester United will only offload Joshua Zirkzee in the January transfer window if they find a suitable replacement, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The well-known and well-respected Italian journalist has claimed that Man Utd wanted to sign Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth, but the Ghana international winger is on his way to Manchester City instead.
Romano said on his YouTube channel: “What I’m told is that Manchester United will only approve this solution for Zirkzee to leave the club if they can get a replacement.
“And so Manchester United have started exploring the market again after they failed to reach an agreement with Antoine Semenyo.
“They are back in the market for an attacking player, because in that case, Joshua Zirkzee could leave the club and go to Roma.
“So keep an eye on Manchester United, because they could add something to the squad up front in this January transfer window. United are exploring the market for that possibility.”
