Multiple award-winning singer and performer, Davido has directly responded to a DNA test request from his alleged daughter, ‘Anu.’

The decade-long paternity dispute between Afrobeats star Davido and Ayotomide Labinjo has taken a new turn following new claims from Labinjo’s daughter, Anuoluwapo.

In a fresh appeal posted today, January 15, 2026, the young girl revealed the emotional toll of the controversy, stating she faced severe bullying throughout her primary school years for claiming the superstar was her father.

Anuoluwapo, who is entering her teenage years, shared that the mockery began when she was just six years old. According to her post, classmates frequently teased her whenever she mentioned her father’s name, leading to significant emotional distress that required professional mental health support.

“It was a sad, challenging time in my life,” she wrote, adding that while she has stopped discussing her family history in secondary school, she is now seeking a final DNA test to “establish her identity” as she transitions into womanhood.

The emotional plea triggered a sharp response from Davido, who has long maintained that the matter was settled by a DNA test in 2014. Responding to a Twitter user who suggested the girl’s request would “touch a father’s heart,” Davido erupted, claiming multiple tests have already been conducted.

“After 5 DNA test… she Dey crase .. her and her mom better leave me the fuck alone and go find her papa,” the singer posted, signaling his exhaustion with the situation.

This public outburst follows comments made a year ago by Davido’s former lawyer, Bobo Ajudua, who claimed that tests were carried out at two separate reputable clinics, including one chosen by the Labinjo family, both of which reportedly returned negative results.

Despite these assertions, Anu maintains that a new, independent test is “the right thing to do” for her own peace of mind.

While the “Unavailable” singer appears to have closed the door on the matter permanently, the young girl’s account of childhood bullying has reignited a fierce debate online regarding the private impact of very public celebrity scandals.
