The UFC’s return to the Middle East this weekend is set.
There were no major incidents on the scales early on Friday in Riyadh ahead of Saturday’s event in anb Arena which pits former middleweight champion Israel Adesanya as he seeks to overcome a two-fight skid against the Frenchman Nassourdine Imavov. In the co-main, the former Bellator standout Michael ‘Venom’ Page takes on Shara Bullet is what is expected to be a flashy stand-up affair between two of the UFC’s most slickly skilled strikers.
Just one fighter missed weight ahead of their bout — Lucas Alexander — who came in 2.5 pounds heavy for his featherweight contest with Bogdan Grad. Alexander will forfeit 30% of his purse to his opponent and the fight will proceed as a catchweight affair.
