The OnePlus Watch 3 will ship in April now as the company works to fix the typo
Those eagerly awaiting the OnePlus Watch 3 smartwatch will need to wait a little longer due to a typo.
Early buyers got their hands on the new watch only to discover that it was “Meda in China.” The small typo resulted in OnePlus delaying the Tuesday launch until April.
“Oops, we’ve meda mistake!” the company tweeted. It also offered customers who already have their watches the opportunity to hold onto it as a “super limited edition” or return it, “no questions asked.”
But while OnePlus is making light of the somewhat embarrassing mistake, some customers raised concerns about quality control and what other issues might have slipped through.

On the OnePlus website, the Watch 3 is still available to pre-order but the site now lists it as shipping in 43 days, which would be April 9. OnePlus also extended its promotion offer on the watch — Canadians can continue to enter code ‘TIME1010’ to save an extra $50 on the smartwatch.
OnePlus is also offering an extra $70 off when trading in an older device.
The OnePlus Watch 3 starts at $449 in Canada. It has several new features, like a longer battery life of up to 16 days when using battery-saver mode, a more premium design, and more.
