I might need to swap my plan

These carriers are crazy, just copying each other left, right and centre. The Toronto-based telecom, Rogers, recently launched a $55/125GB promotion, and now, Telus and Bell have copied the plan. This comes after Telus launched a $50/100GB plan that Rogers and Bell copied.

Telus’ $55/125GB plan offers speeds up to 1Gbps and unlimited data at reduced speeds. It also features unlimited data, talk, and text in Canada, Mexico, and the U.S. You can also redeem three months of Stream+ Premium for $15 per month.

Stream+ Premium is typically $43 per month and includes Netflix Premium, Disney+, an Amazon Prime membership and access to Telus Films and Series.

Bell’s version of the $55/125GB plan offers no speed cap but reduced speeds after the 125GB of data. It also offers unlimited data, calling, and texting in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. Similar to some of Bell’s other plans, it has an HD streaming cap. This means when you’re watching content on data, you’re capped at 1080p streaming.
