If you are a fan of Rakuten’s Kobo e-book service, you’d be happy to know that Rakuten Kobo has officially launched the Kobo Plus service in Malaysia, an ‘all-you-can-read’ service that’s similar to Amazon’s Kindle Unlimited, it offers over 2 million eBooks and 300,000 audiobooks with a monthly subscription price starting from RM27/month.
Kobo Plus offers three subscriptions, which customers can choose to access eBooks or Audiobooks only for RM27/month, while opting for both gets you a combo price of RM35/month, a 14-day trial is available for new users which can be cancelled at no cost before it ends.
With the launch of Kobo Plus, it complements Rakuten Kobo’s product offering in the Malaysian market, as the company already sells a lineup of eBook readers, including the Kobo Libra Colour, Kobo Clara Colour, Kobo Clara BW, Kobo Elipsa 2E and Kobo Sage, which offers a comfortable reading experience and innovative features such as waterproofing and stylus compatibility for higher end models.
Kobo Plus can be subscribed through the Kobo Books app for iOS and Android, or directly on Kobo eReaders.
