Liverpool can take a huge step towards the Premier League title by beating Fulham on Sunday afternoon.
The Reds currently sit 11 points ahead of second-placed Arsenal in the top flight table, but the Gunners’ 1-1 draw against Everton on Saturday means Arne Slot’s side can extend their advantage to 14 points with a win at Craven Cottage.
The Cottagers will undoubtedly provide a stern test for the Reds, but Slot will be confident about his side’s chances of leaving West London with all three points.
Away from the action, it has emerged that Liverpool are one of a number of Premier League sides interested in a Bundesliga star.
According to TBR Football, Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal are all keeping tabs on Eintracht Frankfurt youngster Hugo Larsson.
Larsson could be on his way to the Premier League
The central midfielder has impressed in the Bundesliga this season, and his performances have attracted significant attention from clubs in the Premier League.
The 20-year-old joined Frankfurt from Swedish side Malmo in 2023 and has now played 77 times for his current side, scoring eight goals and providing three assists.
It is claimed that reigning Premier League champions Manchester City have been working on a potential move for Larsson in recent months, with the Swede very much on the Citizens’ radar.
City are, however, also interested in Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimaraes, Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton and Atalanta star Ederson as they search for a new central midfielder.
According to the report, Frankfurt intend to keep hold of Larsson beyond this summer if they qualify for the Champions League next term.
The Sweden international is under contract at his current side until the end of the 2028/29 season, which puts his current employers in a commanding position and under very little pressure to sell.
