The Premier League have announced a list of five managers who led their various clubs to success for the manager of the month of April 2025.
Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola is a notable name on the list following his decision to turn around his team’s fortune as they look to finish in UEFA Champions League spot at the end of this season.
They kept three clean sheets in April, with two of those coming away from home, in a 0-0 draw at Manchester United and a 2-0 victory over Everton at Goodison Park. Guardiola’s side would end the month with a stoppage-time win over Aston Villa.
Arne Slot is another name on the list having guided his Liverpool team to the title during the period, becoming just the fifth boss in the competition’s history to achieve a first-placed finish in their debut season. The Reds defeated Everton, West Ham United, Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur in April winning the league title with four matches left in the season.
Other managers on the list includes, Eddie Howe (Newcastle United), Unai Emery ( Aston Villa) and Vitor Pereira (Wolverhampton Wanderers) for the premier league award.
Voting will close on Monday, May 5, 2025 while the winner of the award will be announced on Friday, May 9, 2025.
