Ex-Super Eagles of Nigeria player, Taye Taiwo has predicted the outcome of the Inter Milan vs Barcelona UCL semi-final showdown.
Former Super Eagles defender Taye Taiwo is confident that Inter Milan have the quality to overcome Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg in his latest prediction.
According to Daily Post Nigeria, Taiwo emphasized the importance of an early goal for Inter, following their intense 3-3 draw in the first leg in Spain last week. Both teams head into the clash with momentum, Inter secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Verona despite resting key players, while Barcelona staged a comeback to defeat Valladolid 2-1.
Speaking to RG about Inter Milan’s chances, Taiwo stated: “For me, they have a big opportunity for sure, but it is not going to be easy to play against Barcelona. The two teams are currently tied at 3-3 so Inter have to be very careful when they play at home. If Inter can score an early goal [on Tuesday], I believe they have the quality to go through with their strong defence.”
