The Baltimore Ravens have released kicker Justin Tucker.

The move comes ten days after the team drafted Arizona kicker Tyler Loop, and amidst serious accusations against Tucker. In recent months, 16 massage therapists from eight different Baltimore-area spas accused Tucker of inappropriate sexual behavior. In a story that ran in the Baltimore Banner “several therapists said Tucker’s behavior was so egregious that they ended his sessions early or refused to work on him again.”

Tucker denied the allegations against him, calling them “unequivocally false.”

Signed by the organization as an undrafted free agent in 2012, Tucker put together a legendary career in Baltimore. During his time with the Ravens Tucker set the NFL record for the longest field goal at 66 yards, and he is still the NFL leader in career field goal percentage with a mark of 89.1%.

He was also named to seven Pro Bowls and five first-team All-Pros, and was a member of the Ravens team that won Super Bowl XLVII. He was also a seven-time Pro Bowl selection, and a member of the NFL’s 2010s All-Decade Team.

In a statement on social media the Ravens called this a football decision. The team drafted kicker Loop out of Arizona in the sixth round.
