Al-Hilal are not currently in a position to complete the transfer, with the club still waiting to receive the necessary funds from the Saudi government.

However, they appear confident that the funds will be granted so that they can pay the release clause in Osimhen’s Napoli contract.

Al-Hilal are seemingly keen to sign the prolific goalscorer in time to play a role at the Club World Cup this summer.

They will begin their campaign with a game against Real Madrid on June 18, before they conclude the group stage with matches against Red Bull Salzburg and Pachuca.
