Veteran journalist Dele Momodu has fired back at FCT Minister Nyesom Wike after being mocked for not delivering votes.

Responding via social media, Momodu slammed Wike, calling him a “money miss road” and questioned his lifestyle, saying “I can confirm that too much alcohol can do two things, dull the memory and get people emaciated.”

He went on to draw comparisons between their political and personal conduct, escalating the feud further.

“On elections, there’s no difference between the man who wasted billions on seeking power and still lost and the one who spent nothing and got nothing. They are both losers.”

He added, “The difference here is one is an uncouth and uncultured local champion called ‘money miss road’ while the other is a decorous and refined global citizen surviving on contentment.”

Momodu further insinuated that efforts had been made to help Wike but were ultimately unsuccessful. “We thought we could be of help but we failed because some souls are irredeemable,” he wrote.

In a final remark that underscores the tension between both public figures, Momodu concluded, “Lesson: NO ONE HAS A MONOPOLY OF MADNESS.”
