Super Bowl LX will be held at Levi’s Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers, in February 2026.

During a recent chat with Vic Tafur of The Athletic, 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk was asked if he and his teammates have discussed what it would mean to play for a Super Bowl title in their home arena.

“I think we’ve been talking about it since we found out two years ago or whatever,” Juszczyk admitted. “That’s the dream scenario, that it ends there. And I hope that’s how it works out. But, you know, it’s July and I’ve got to give you the classic, ‘We can’t look that far ahead. … It’s all about training camp in two weeks.'”

As noted by The Guardian and other outlets, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers became the first team in NFL history to play in and win a Super Bowl hosted at their home stadium when they did so in 2021 amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The following February, the Los Angeles Rams won Super Bowl LVI at their home, SoFi Stadium.

Back in February 2024, the 49ers were one defensive stop away from adding a sixth Vince Lombardi Trophy to their franchise case. However, an injury crisis impacted San Francisco last fall as the club fell from 5-4 to 6-11.

“I think we’ve been extremely hungry this whole offseason,” Juszczyk said about the Niners’ attempt to bounce back from a rough 2024 season. “The fact that everybody was there and everyone was grinding, there was that little extra motivation to really get this thing going.”

As of Friday morning, DraftKings Sportsbook had the 49ers and Green Bay Packers tied for fourth among the betting favorites at +1000 odds to represent the NFC in the upcoming Super Bowl. The reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles topped the list at +310 odds.

Juszczyk endured quite a unique offseason, as he was cut and re-signed by the 49ers in March. During his conversation with Tafur, Juszczyk referred to his brief free-agency journey that included a visit with the Pittsburgh Steelers as “the worst three days of my life.”

“I literally know everyone,” Juszczyk said about his desire to remain with what’s been his NFL home since he joined the 49ers in March 2017. “I know the chefs, the custodians, the PR team, the community team. I know all the players, like it’s just a familiarity. My home is there. We bought a house back in 2017, and like, that’s home. And to be in California, to be on what I think is a really good team, a team that I think has a really great opportunity this year. So there’s just too many good things.”
