Ruben Amorim will hope to see his side get the better of the Cherries, with new signing Bryan Mbeumo set to make his first non-competitive appearance for the club.

After a disappointing season last term, Amorim is under pressure to turn his side’s fortunes around when the new season starts next month.

United host old rivals Arsenal on the opening weekend of the season, before visiting West London side Fulham.

Amorim will hope that Mbeumo and fellow new signing Matheus Cunha can have the desired effect and improve his side in attack next season.

Off the pitch, however, it has emerged that one of United’s current attackers is attracting interest from elsewhere in Europe.

As per CaughtOffside, forward Rasmus Hojlund has attracted significant interest from clubs across Europe and could depart Old Trafford this summer.

The Dane cost United a staggering £72 million when he signed from Italian side Atalanta in 2023, but he has since struggled to adapt to the Premier League.

In total the 22-year-old has scored just 26 goals in 95 games for the Red Devils across all competitions, netting just 14 times in 62 Premier League matches.

The report claims,  however, that Italian sides AC Milan, Inter Milan, Napoli and Juventus are all keeping tabs on the Denmark international, with the striker having previously impressed in Serie A.

German clubs Bayer Leverkusen, Eintracht Frankfurt, RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund are all also said to be interested in the player, with ex-United boss Erik ten Hag now in charge of Leverkusen.

It is claimed that United could be willing to allow Hojlund to depart Old Trafford just two yers after he joined the club, but only for the right price.
