Manchester United Women’s first signing of the close season, Julia Zigiotti Olme, has already been allocated her position within the squad.
The Sweden international has completed a move from Bayern Munich and will wear the no.18 shirt at her new club.
The midfielder takes over a slot previously occupied by Kirsty Hanson, who left for Aston Villa in 2023.

Zigiotti will look to boost our ranks for the upcoming campaign at home and abroad.
Marc Skinner’s side are in Champions League qualifying action next month, and Julia is sure to feel at home, with the games taking place in her homeland.
The first tie is against PSV Eindhoven in Stockholm on 27 August.
Zigiotti wore no.16 at Bayern Munich and previously captained Brighton & Hove Albion in the WSL.
United Women season tickets are on sale for the new campaign, with Leicester City our first opponents on 7 September. Before then, MUTV are screening the Leigh Sports Village friendly against Liverpool on 20 August.
