Rap sensation Gigi and fellow rapper Sizwe Alakine, also known as Reason, have officially confirmed their relationship, ending months of speculation.
In an exclusive with Daily Sun, Gigi Lamayne, whose real name is Genesis Gabriella Tina Manney, revealed that they’ve been together for over a year.
In response to comparisons between her and Sizwe’s ex-partner, LootLove, Gigi (30), said she’s not bothered by the comments.
“Not even. I think Loot is such a beautiful woman. She gave Sizwe the most beautiful gifts ever. His kids make him so happy, and that makes me happy. It’s unfortunate that getting clicks was at our expense. Blended situations exist everywhere. I really love where I am right now. I appreciate the support from the public,” said Gigi

The couple made their relationship even more public by collaborating on a song called Bestie, which was released on Valentine’s Day along with an intimate visual of them together.
When asked about their relationship timeline, Gigi simply said: “A year. A beautiful year. We just never confirmed.”
Recently, Sizwe Alakine defended their relationship after podcasters Thakgi and Sfiso Ndlovu discussed his transition from LootLove to Gigi Lamayne.
The discussion didn’t sit well with him, prompting him to confront them directly during their podcast episode.
“You’re so comfortable talking about me, you might as well do it while I’m here,” Sizwe told the hosts.
This unexpected confrontation led to an on-air apology from the podcasters, who later admitted they regretted publishing that part of the episode.
