Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade is reportedly set to complete her move to join the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) women’s team.
Rasheedat Ajibade has been a free agent since July 2025 after leaving Atlético Madrid in June and has been linked with a move to the French capital. According to reports from France a deal has been agreed between both parties with only final formalities standing in the way.
Ajibade would become the second Nigerian in the PSG women’s squad to join compatriot Jennifer Echegini. The former Atlético Madrid player is known for her explosive pace and relentless work rate, had also attracted interest from clubs in the United States’ NWSL
Ajibade led Nigeria to winning their 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations title in Morocco, registering two assists, a goal, and three Player of the Match awards. She was named the tournament’s Best Player, capping a campaign that showcased her leadership and attacking flair.
The Super Falcons captain is expected to complete the move in the coming days, with PSG eager to integrate her into the squad ahead of their Champions League push.
