Premier League teams have already spent more than £2bn this summer, but with the deadline closing on Monday, 1 September, more business is expected.

What clubs needs before deadline
AFC Bournemouth

Rebuilt after losing Milos Kerkez, Dean Huijsen and Illia Zabarnyi.

Added Adrien Truffert, Bafode Diakite, Ben Gannon-Doak and Amine Adli.

Still want another defender and possibly a striker to compete with Evanilson.

Signed Martin Zubimendi and Viktor Gyokeres.

Kai Havertz’s knee injury changed plans, leading to Eberechi Eze’s expected arrival.

Aston Villa
