Huawei Expands Smartwatch Lineup in Malaysia with WATCH GT 6 Series, WATCH Ultimate 2, and WATCH D2 Blue Edition

Huawei is making a bold push in Malaysia’s wearable market with the official launch of the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Series, the high-end HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2, and a fresh Blue edition of the HUAWEI WATCH D2. Together, these new models showcase Huawei’s latest innovations across sports performance, health management, outdoor exploration, and lifestyle convenience.

HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Series: Ride the Wind with Pro-Level FeaturesFollowing its global debut in Paris, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Pro and WATCH GT 6 (46 mm and 41 mm) have arrived in Malaysia, bringing a powerful mix of performance, aesthetics, and endurance.

Powered by a next-gen stacked battery design, the GT 6 Series delivers up to 21 days of battery life on the Pro and 46 mm editions, and up to 14 days on the 41 mm model. Its AMOLED display reaches 3000 nits, ensuring clear visibility even under Malaysia’s bright sun, while an upgraded Sunflower Positioning System improves location accuracy by 20%. Fitness enthusiasts benefit from detailed Running Form Analysis, offering professional guidance on ground contact time, vertical oscillation, and balance to help prevent injuries and refine performance.

The GT 6 Pro is crafted with sapphire glass, aviation-grade titanium alloy, and nanocrystal ceramic, paired with strap options for every occasion. The GT 6 46 mm comes in green, grey, and black, while the 41 mm edition introduces purple, white, and brown straps with innovative loop lugs for extra comfort.

Beyond style, the GT 6 Series is the first smartwatch with cycling virtual power, developed through advanced wind tunnel simulations to deliver near power meter–level accuracy. It also brings safety features like fall detection, SOS alerts, and group ride coordination, plus Altitude Monitoring 2.0 for high-altitude trekking.

The Pro edition adds trail running insights, golf course maps covering over 17,000 courses, and freediving support up to 40 metres with EN13319 certification.

HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2: Built for the Deep and the ExtremeAt the premium end, Huawei has introduced the WATCH Ultimate 2, a rugged yet refined smartwatch designed for explorers and athletes. Crafted with a zirconium-based liquid metal case, dual-colour nanocrystal ceramic bezel, and sapphire glass, it combines toughness with elegance.

The Ultimate 2 is the first smartwatch certified for 150-metre diving, featuring sonar-based underwater communication for sending preset messages and emojis within 30 metres, plus an underwater SOS function with a 60-metre range. It also supports calling and music playback underwater, redefining what a wearable can do in extreme conditions.

Above the surface, the Ultimate 2 provides 11 days of battery life, precision tracking with the Sunflower Positioning System, eSIM independent calling, and AI noise-cancelled communication in harsh environments. Health tracking is enhanced with 10 key metrics under the Health Glance system, while sports tools include global golf course maps with slope-adjusted distance and trajectory replay.

HUAWEI WATCH D2 Blue Edition: Medical-Grade Health on the WristRounding out the launch, Huawei unveiled a new Blue edition of the HUAWEI WATCH D2, the world’s first wrist-based smartwatch with ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM). Priced at RM1,699, it offers medical-grade accuracy combined with ECG analysis, heart rate tracking, sleep and stress monitoring, and over 80 workout modes.

The WATCH D2 features a 1.82-inch AMOLED display, Bluetooth calling, and a sleek design, making it a health-focused wearable that doesn’t compromise on style. Pre-orders include gifts worth RM228, such as a HUAWEI Scale 3 and 2-Year HUAWEI Care+ coverage.
