Manchester City will hope to keep the pressure up on Premier League leaders Arsenal when they face Everton next time out.
The Citizens defeated Brentford 1-0 in their last outing, and will face the Toffees in their first match after the international break.
Erling Haaland netted City’s winner over the Bees to take his personal tally for the season to 12 goals in nine games for the Citizens, and manager Pep Guardiola will hope to see the Norwegian pick up where he left off when they face Everton at The Etihad.
Off the pitch, however, it appears that one of Europe’s biggest clubs could make a move to sign the striker next year.
According to The Daily Briefing via CaughtOffside, Spanish giants Real Madrid have made contact with Haaland’s representatives in order to gauge the feasibility of a move next year.

The report claims that the La Liga side could have a colossal amount of money to spend in the transfer market next summer, with forward Vinicius Junior could make a move to a Saudi club for a fee as high as £217 million.
Real would then have significant funds to bolster Xabi Alonso’ squad, and Haaland is understood to be one of their top targets.
While Real have reached out to the player’s camp, the report states that Haaland himself is not pushing to leave The Etihad.
Since joining City from Borussia Dortmund in 2022, Haaland has scored 136 goals in 155 games for the Manchester club across all competitions.
The Norway international is contracted to Manchester City until the end of the 2033/34 season after recently signing an extension, however, and the report claims that the Citizens have no intention of allowing the forward to depart the club any time soon.
