Chelsea travel to Molineux on Wednesday to face Wolves in the last 16 of the Carabao Cup.
The Blues had been in good form of late but that came to an abrupt end on Saturday as they were beaten 2-1 by Sunderland at Stamford Bridge, despite taking the lead early on.
That result left Enzo Maresca’s side ninth in the Premier League table, and the Italian will be desperate to see his side improve drastically when they visit struggling Wolves.
In the meantime, it appears that Chelsea are one of a number of Premier League sides interested in a Bundesliga star.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes via CaughtOffside, the Blues are keeping an eye on Bayern Munich defender Kim Min-jae.
It is claimed that Chelsea – along with Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool – have expressed an interest in the South Korea international.

Kim, 28, joined Bayern from Italian side Napoli in 2023 after impressing for the Serie A side, and he has since continued to prove himself as a solid central defender at the highest level.
The Korean defender is under contract at Bayern until the end of the 2027/28 season, but it appears that he has attracted significant interest from clubs in the Premier League.
In total the defender has played 88 times for Bayern across all competitions, including nine appearances so far this season, but it remains unclear whether or not the German champions would allow the player to depart the club.
Liverpool’s interest in the defender comes amid uncertainty surrounding the future of Ibrahima Konate, who is in the final year of his current contract with the Reds and has been linked with a move away from Anfield next summer.
Chelsea, meanwhile, have struggled with injuries in defence this season, with the likes of Levi Colwill and Wesley Fofana having missed periods.
