Regina Daniels, a Nollywood actress, discussed her marriage to Senator Ned Nwoko.
She revealed that her family was initially against their marriage.
The comments followed accusations against Nwoko for allegedly orchestrating the arrest of her brother and sister.
Nollywood star Regina Daniels has spoken candidly about her marriage to Senator Ned Nwoko, revealing that her family initially opposed their union.
This revelation comes after the actress accused Nwoko of orchestrating the arrest of her brother and sister in a series of posts shared on her Instagram page.
In a viral video making rounds online, Regina emotionally disclosed that she once considered taking her own life when her family objected to her decision to marry the politician.
“I was going to kill myself if I didn’t marry Ned,” she confessed in the clip.
Despite the ongoing marital crisis, Regina maintained that her feelings for Ned are still rooted in love and mutual respect.
“I still care and respect him. That’s love. What is love? Care and respect,” she said.
Meanwhile, the actress’ brother, Sweezzy, made a startling allegation regarding Nwoko’s late son. In multiple Instagram posts, he claimed that the boy passed away in the United Kingdom due to heart failure and seizures allegedly caused by drug overdose.
As of now, Senator Ned Nwoko has not issued any response to the allegations.
Regina also addressed circulating rumors about her alleged drug use, dismissing them as false and describing them as part of Nwoko’s alleged smear campaign against her.
The actress further vowed to fight for custody of her children, declaring:
“I will take them. I will raise them with or without your support.”
Regina went on to express gratitude to her family especially her mother, Rita Daniels for standing by her despite facing public criticism amid the controversy.
