Kleindienst signs new long-term contract with Gladbach

Borussia Mönchengladbach have extended Tim Kleindienst’s contract until 2029.

Tim Kleindienst has committed to a new long-term deal with Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Die Fohlen announced on Thursday that their star striker and captain has penned a new contract until 2029.

“Tim quickly stepped into a role as a leader during his first year with us, in addition to making his national team debut. This season, he was then named captain of our team,” said Borussia Mönchengladbach head of sport Rouven Schröder.

“We’re delighted with how he’s developed and his performances. He’s a leader on the pitch and we’re looking forward to having him back available again once he’s recovered from his injury.”

Kleindienst added:

“I feel very at home at Borussia. It’s simply a fantastic club. I’m fully convinced of the quality of our team. I really want to do my part to help the club find their way back to the top.”

Die Fohlen announced on Thursday that their star striker and captain has signed a contract extension keeping him at the club until 2029.

The 30-year-old has yet to feature for Borussia this season as he is recovering from a meniscus injury. He recenrtly returned to training with the ball.
