Manager Arne Slot in his latest interview with BBC has opened up on Liverpool FC’s transfer plans for the January 2025 transfer window.
With Liverpool barely making any transfer moves or plans in the January 2025 window so far, manager of the Reds, Arne Slot has responded to questions on his side’s plans in terms of players leaving or joining the club.
Speaking with BBC, Arne Slot revealed that the club is working in the background to see what can be done to further strengthen the squad as the 2024/2025 club football season progresses. Slot stated categorically that the plan was to make signings that can compete for trophies for a long time at the club as he is focused on challenging for every possible title in Europe.
He stated, “In the background, we are working on strengthening the squad for the summer. That would mean that for the upcoming years, we will be able to challenge for every trophy we are playing for.”
