Premier League leaders Arsenal host title challengers Aston Villa in an intriguing encounter on Tuesday evening.
Mikel Arteta’s side have topped the table for much of the campaign so far but dropping points recently against Sunderland, Chelsea and Aston Villa has allowed Manchester City to close the gap at the top to just two points, with Villa a point further back in third.
The Gunners defeated Brighton and Hove Albion 2-1 in their last outing on Saturday, maintaining their lead at the top, and Arteta will be desperate to see his side get the better of Villa on Tuesday.
Now, ahead of the match, it has emerged that Arsenal are keeping tabs on a highly rated winger from the Bundesliga.
As reported by CaughtOffside, both Arsenal and Premier League rivals Manchester United are monitoring Hoffenheim’s Bazoumana Toure.
The 19-year-old attacker joined Hoffenheim from Swedish side Hammarby at the start of the year and has since made 29 appearances for his current side across all competitions, scoring twice and providing eight assists.

It is claimed that both Brentford and Newcastle United are also interested in the Ivorian winger, who is under contract at Hoffeheim until the end of the 2028/29 campaign.
Interested English sides are said to have started conducting data-driven scouting on the winger, who primarily operates on the left flank but can also play on the right.
Despite significant interest from clubs in England, it is claimed that Hoffenheim are extremely reluctant to sell Toure during the mid-season transfer window.
While it has been rumoured that clubs were pondering bids in the region of £30 million, the report claims that the Bundesliga side value Toure at around £35-40 million, partly due to the length of his current contract.
