In an intimate and deeply personal statement shared via his Substack, the “Kweku The Traveller” hitmaker revealed that his new project will arrive this Friday at 5:57 AM.
The announcement wasn’t just a date; it was a manifesto. Writing to his fans, Sherif took a look back at the “hurdles and sleepless nights” that defined his early career. He touched on the emotional weight of his journey from being told as a 17-year-old that his voice “wasn’t good enough” to selling out back-to-back nights in London and hosting over 20,000 people in a stadium.
“Nothing was handed to us,” Sherif wrote. “We worked late nights into early mornings… It took time to realize these stab wounds had to happen for us to realize how great we were to become.”
