The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially confirmed the prize money structure for the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), following a conference held today, Saturday, December 20, 2025.
The tournament winners will receive the largest share, taking home $10 million, while the sum to be taken home by the runners up haven’t been confirmed yet.
The confirmed prize distribution reflects CAF’s continued commitment to improving financial incentives for national teams and strengthening football development across the continent.
