Spend a few minutes on social media and you’ll stumble across some grifter trying to explain why AI is going to revolutionize everything. Then you find an entire recreation of Cam Newton’s career starring a minion and you realize the awe-inspiring power and utter terror of giving people the tools to create anything.
I’ll give it this: I appreciate the completeness. Someone went through the effort of giving every single key point from Newton’s career a prompt, and then setting it as a montage to “Don’t Dream It’s Over” by Crowded House. Newton is the only minion on any of his teams, meaning there’s a world where a minion played NFL football.
I don’t know what else to say about this thing. It’s confronting. It’s confusing. It’s unlike anything I’ve seen before. Easily one of the weirdest two minutes I’ve spent on the internet, and that’s saying something.
