Kelechi Iheanacho was missing from the team that beat Falkirk last time out…
Celtic interim coach Martin O’Neill has hinted that Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho could be available for selection when they take on Rangers in the semifinal of the Scottish League Cup on Sunday, Soccernet.ng reports.
Iheanacho was conspicuously missing from the Hoops team that thrashed Falkirk 4-0 at Celtic Park on Wednesday. He was ruled out of the fixture due to a slight injury.
But it appears that he is now ready to go, and just in time too. Celtic take on close rivals Rangers in the semifinal of the Scottish League Cup this weekend, and it promises to be a tight game due to the stature of the clubs.

Ahead of the game at Celtic Park on Sunday, coach O’Neill, has stated that Iheanacho is okay.
“Iheanacho is doing fine. We’ll take a little look tomorrow and see how things are,” O’Neill said during his pre-match press conference.
The Super Eagles striker will likely be part of the squad, but he might not start for the Hoops.
Kelechi Iheanacho Could Be Clutch For Celtic
After scoring two goals in his first three games for Celtic, Kelechi Iheanacho has tailed off in recent weeks.

However, he could still provide a new dimension for Celtic on Sunday. Iheanacho is ruthless in front of goal, and a tricky customer for defenders.
He will be hoping that he gets minutes for the reigning Scottish champions and help them secure the victory.
