Chelsea will aim to return to winning ways when they face Bournemouth on Tuesday night.
Enzo Maresca’s side suffered a damaging 2-1 defeat against Aston Villa last time out, despite taking the lead through Joao Pedro.
Ollie Watkins’ second-half brace turned the game on its head and ensured the Villans departed Stamford Bridge with all three points, inflicting a fifth Premier League defeat of the season on Maresca’s side.
Ahead of Tuesday’s game, it appears that Chelsea are interested in a Premier League midfielder.
As reported by The Daily Mail, Chelsea are one of five top flight sides tracking Nottingham Forest’s James McAtee, who has struggled since joining the club this summer.
The report claims that the Blues are monitoring the 23-year-old, who joined Forest from Manchester City earlier this year.
McAtee had scored seven goals in 34 games for the Citizens across all competitions, having graduated from their academy.

The Englishman spent time on loan at Sheffield United, but despite featuring for Pep Guardiola’s side last term he joined Forest over the summer.
His move to The City Ground hasn’t gone to plan so far, however, with McAtee having featured just ten times across all competitions and started just one of their 18 league games.
McAtee worked under current Chelsea boss Maresca during the Italian’s time in charge of Man City’s development side, where he played alongside current Blues stars Cole Palmer and Liam Delap.
The midfielder is under contract at The City Ground until the end of the 2029/30 season having signed a long-term deal when joining the club, but the report suggests that clubs could attempt to lure him away from Nottingham next month.
Fellow Premier League sides Leeds United, Bournemouth, Fulham and Sunderland are all also said to be showing interest in the midfielder, while German clubs including RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen, Eintracht Frankfurt and Stuttgart are also credited with an interest.
