Chelsea sit seventh in the Premier League going into the international break after a 2-1 win over leaders Liverpool on Saturday.
Moises Caicedo had put the hosts in front at Stamford Bridge, before midfielder Cody Gakpo drew the reigning champions level after the break.
The match looked to be heading for a draw until added time, when youngster Estevao Willian slid the Blues in front, earning Enzo Maresca’s side all three points and inflicting a third successive defeat on the Reds.
Maresca will be pleased with the result heading into the international break, with Chelsea travelling to face Nottingham Forest when domestic football returns later this month.
Off the pitch, it has emerged that Chelsea could be dealt a blow in their pursuit of a Serie A star.
According to TBR Football, Juventus are reluctant to allow young star Kenan Yildiz to depart the club amid interest from several clubs.

The report claims that the Turkey international – whose current contract is set to expire in 2029 – is in talks over a proposed new deal which would make him one of the club’s highest earners.
Yildiz, 20, joined Juventus in 2022 after leaving German giants Bayern Munich and has since made 92 appearances for the Old Lady across all competitions.
He has netted 18 goals in that time, as well as providing 15 assists, and has registered a combined six goals in eight games so far this term.
The report claims that Chelsea’s London rivals, Arsenal, are also admirers of the Turkish attacker, while both Manchester City and Liverpool have previously shown interest in the youngster.
Yildiz is capable of playing in a number of different roles including as an attacking midfielder, or as a winger primarily on the left flank.
