Chelsea go into the international break off the back of a shock 2-1 victory against Premier League champions Liverpool on Saturday.
After Cody Gakpo had cancelled out Moises Caicedo’s stunning opener, teenager Estevao Willian grabbed an added time winner to securer all three points for the Blues at Stamford Bridge.
That goal inflicted a third straight defeat on the Reds in all competitions, while the Blues were without a win in their previous three Premier League games.
After the international break, Chelsea travel to face struggling Nottingham Forest, before hosting Dutch side Ajax in the Champions League.
In the meantime, it has emerged that one of Chelsea’s standout performers so far this term is attracting interest from one of Europe’s biggest clubs.
As revealed by CaughtOffside, Real Madrid are monitoring Chelsea star Caicedo as they assess possible targets to bolster their midfield.

The report claims that the La Liga giants are plotting an overhaul of their midfield under Xabi Alonso, and the Ecuador international has been added to the list of targets that the club have compiled.
Caicedo, 23, joined Chelsea from Brighton and Hove Albion in 2023 and has since made more than 100 appearances for the West London side across all competitions.
He has established himself as one of the best central midfielders in the Premier League over the past 12 months, and the report claims that his impressive displays haven’t gone unnoticed with Real Madrid taking note.
Caicedo is under contract at Stamford Bridge until the end of the 2030/31 campaign, and the report claims that the Blues regard the player as not for sale.
It is claimed that a bid in the region of £120-130 million would have to be received for Chelsea to even consider selling the Ecuadorian.
