Kanye West faced backlash after a chaotic concert in Shanghai, China, where fans claim he showed up over 45 minutes late, lip-synched most of the show, and disappeared mid-performance.
One fan on X called it the “worst concert I’ve ever been to,” saying West barely used his mic and stayed masked and distant throughout.
The concert attendee claimed West, 48, was “mostly lip synching” for the show and that “his microphone must have been up less than 20% of the time.”
The fan also alleged that the 24-time Grammy winner “disappeared for over 20 minutes at one point” while his hot tracks, such as “Wolves,” played “with him nowhere in sight.”
Tickets reportedly cost up to $260, prompting angry concertgoers to chant for refunds in viral videos shared online.
