Afrobeats superstar Davido has responded sharply to Nollywood actress Sarah Martins following her comment about his recent venture, The 5IVE Kitchen.
Sarah Martins had stirred social media conversation by suggesting that Davido’s wife, Chioma, would have been a more fitting face for the project, given her well-known culinary skills. She implied that a restaurant venture should have been launched in Chioma’s name as a tribute to her cooking talent.
However, Davido wasted no time setting the record straight. Taking to Instagram’s comment section, the Feel hitmaker clarified that The 5IVE Kitchen wasn’t a restaurant opening but a promotional collaboration with FoodCourt app to support his latest album 5ive.
Clearly displeased with Chioma’s involvement in the conversation about the 5IVE Kitchen, Davido also demanded that Sarah Martins take down a photo of his wife from her post. His comment read: “U no get sense. No restaurant was opened, that was a promotional campaign with @foodcourt_app for my album 5️⃣.. now take my wife’s picture off page.”
The exchange has since sparked reactions online, with fans weighing in on both sides of the incident.
