Today we are kicking things off with a chance to save $150 or more on Samsung’s most affordable S25/+ smartphones or as much as $630 off with a trade. We also have some big-time deals on Samsung gaming monitors, including the 27-inch Odyssey G6 240Hz QHD QD-OLED at $250 off alongside as much as $900 in savings on higher-end models. You can now land a FREE $100 Amazon gift card with your Pixel 9a purchase and we have a series of deals on Amazon’s latest smart speakers including its new Star Wars Echo Dot with a light-up TIE Fighter Stand. All of that and more awaits below in today’s 9to5Toys Lunch Break.
Samsung’s most affordable S25/+ phones are now up to $150 off with no trade, $630 off with one
Yesterday we featured another notable chance to save on the latest flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra with $230 or more in savings without no trade needed. Today we are highlighting the latest deals on the more affordable end of the lineup – the S25 and S25+ – that are now up to $150 off directly from Samsung. Just be sure to head below as there are ways to grab them for a touch less right now.
Much like with the Ultra, there were some wild discounts and bundle promotions on the more affordable S25 and S25+ during the pre-order phase and just after launch. But with those deals long gone now, let’s take a look at the best ways to save for folks still looking to upgrade.
Firstly, if you have gear to trade-in for either of these devices, you’ll want to go straight to the Samsung site as it is still offering the chance to save up to $630 off your order.
If you’re not trading in, here are the cash savings available from Samsung right now:
Galaxy S25 from $720 (Reg. $800)
Galaxy S25+ from $850 (Reg. $1,000)
Now, these are notable prices and some of the better deals we have tracked on the most affordable configurations over the last month or two, but you can score both models for a few bucks less at Amazon right now – the only difference is that Samsung has more color options at the discounted rate.
Here’s the best prices on Amazon right now:
Galaxy S25 from $715 (Reg. $800)
Galaxy S25+ from $848 (Reg. $1,000)
If you’re not going to take advantage of the bonus bundle savings you can score going directly from Samsung, and you can find the color you’re after on Amazon, you might as well save the couple bucks. The exclusive Samsung colors are the best options if you ask me, but either way you’re looking at some notable savings here today.

Score a FREE $100 Amazon gift card with your Google Pixel 9a purchase
While you can still score a $100 Google Store credit, and even a $100 Best Buy gift card, with your purchase of the new Pixel 9a, Amazon is now getting involved. You can now score FREE $100 Amazon gift cards with your purchase of the new Google Pixel 9athis includes all four colors of the 128GB model and a couple of the options on the 256GB configuration – both of them are also $1 less than you’ll find at Best Buy before you factor in the FREE credits. Additional details below.
Pixel 9a 128GB + $100 Amazon gift card at $499
Pixel 9a 256GB + $100 Amazon gift card at $599
Much like I detailed with the Best Buy gift card offer on the new Pixel 9a, the retailer credits are far more valuable for me. This might not be the case for everyone, and you can still score the Google Store credit, but I would much rather score $100 to spend on Amazon.
Not only are there a million things on there you might want or need, but you’re likely to be spending $100 on gear at Amazon over the next few months anyway, so you might as well score a deal on some of it. And on that note, just about anything that goes on sale on the Google Store is almost always matched or even lower at Amazon at the same time. This $100 credit will almost certainly go much further for you at Amazon than it will just about anywhere else – groceries, home essentials, Switch 2 gear, even deeper deals on already marked down tech items, and a whole lot more.

Samsung’s 27-inch Odyssey G6 240Hz QHD QD-OLED gaming monitor returns to its lowest price at $250 off
Samsung is offering its 27-inch QHD QD-OLED 240Hz G6 (G61SD) gaming monitor down at $549.99 shipped. Also matched at Amazon as part of its ongoing Gaming Week sale, this regularly $800 high refresh rate gaming monitor is now seeing a solid $250 discount. That’s 31% off its usual going rate, landing it back at the lowest price which it hit earlier this year in February. A handful of other Odyssey gaming monitors are also discounted right now, and you can get more details below.
Samsung’s Odyssey G61SD gaming monitor features a high refresh rate QHD QD-OLED display that delivers crisp visuals for gaming. It sports a panel with a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time, along with AMD FreeSync for smooth, tear-free gameplay. The OLED panel on this monitor offers vibrant and accurate color reproduction, covering 99% of the DCI-P3 color space, and some of its other highlights include eye-care settings, a sleek metal build with customizable RGB lighting, a good selection of ports including an HDMI 2.1, and more.

Amazon’s new Star Wars Echo Dot smart speaker with light-up TIE Fighter Stand debuts with launch deal, more from $28
Alongside a collection of other Amazon tech, it is now offering price drops across its Echo smart speaker lineup. While the deals aren’t reaching down quite as low as what we saw over Black Friday last year, just about all of the deal prices on Amazon gear since Alexa+ was announced have gone up a touch. That said we are still tracking up to 30% in savings on the latest releases alongside a deal on the Star Wars Echo Dot Bundle. Details below.
Amazon Echo Pop $28 (Reg. $40)
Or $25 with damaged packaging
Amazon Echo Dot $38 (Reg. $50)
Amazon Echo Spot $65 (Reg. $80)
Star Wars Echo Dot Bundle $98 (Reg. $110)
Incl. Echo Dot (5th Gen) w/ TIE Fighter Stand
Again we have seen these speakers for less in the past, but we are talking avoid prices on par or slightly lower than the best we have seen this year. The Echo Pop, for example, is within $10 of its best price to date on Amazon (outside of some bundle offers), and is now $2 under the previous 2025 low.
The new Star Wars Echo Dot Bundle is certainly a bit of a gimmicky package, but also quite a fun one for fans of a galaxy far, far away. It includes the latest Echo Dot speaker in your color of choice with the new Star Wars TIE Fighter Stand Amazon is introducing this year for Star Wars Day 2025.
The deal on this isn’t a particularly large one, but that’s par for the course with these special edition releases from Amazon – they don’t often see deals at all after release. It will begin shipping on May 6, two days after the 2024 May the 4th Star Wars festivities.
The “engine port on the stand lights up with the light ring from your Echo Dot” – it also automatically adjusts according to the “light level in [your] room,” and will be brighter in well-lit rooms and dimmer in darker rooms.

New 2025 144Hz Hisense frame-style Canvas Google TVs hit all-time lows from $950 (Up to $800 off)
After seeing a big-time $700 launch deal on the new 2025 Hisense frame-style Canvas Google TVs at Amazon recently, Woot is now stepping in with the lowest prices we have tracked to date on both the 65-inch and 75-inch models. The smaller of the two carries a regular price tag at $1,300 and is now marked down to $949.99, while the 75 incher has dropped from $2,500 down to $1,699.99. Both ship free for Prime members (you’ll get hit with a $6 delivery fee otherwise), and are now at the best prices we can find.
For comparison’s sake, the 75-inch model is currently on sale for $1,799 at Amazon and $1,800 at Best Buy – this is the same deal we featured last go around at $700 off. But with today’s Woot deal, we are looking at a price some $800 under the $2,500 list and the lowest we have tracked to date.
These are still relatively sizable investments, that’s for sure. But we are also talking about a pair of brand new 2025 releases in the already quite expensive frame-style TV category. As you’ll know from our launch coverage of the new Samsung The Frame – the industry standard for this sort of smart display, Hisense delivers some serious value at much lower prices. Samsung’s 65-inch costs $1,600 right now and the 75-inch Pro model that happens to have the same 144Hz refresh rate as the Hisense above carries a lofty $3,199. They also don’t run on, what is for me, the superior platform, Google TV.
Some highlights of these new 2025 Hisense models, beyond the aforementioned 144Hz refresh rate, include the ultra-slim wall mount they ship with as well as the AMD FreeSync Premium, Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), and Low Latency MEMC for your gaming setup in between shows, movies, and the Art Mode.
