Enzo Maresca confirms four players that could be out of Wolves clash
Chelsea’s head coach, Enzo Maresca, has given an update on the injured players that are not available for the game against Wolves.
Maresca was speaking in a pre-match press conference ahead of his team’s next Premier League game after the disappointing result against Wolves. According to him, four players were not part of the latest training ahead of the match.
What did Enzo Maresca say about Chelsea injured players?The Italian confirmed that four of the firts team players were not part of the team’s training session with Cole Palmer and Enzo Fernandez been the major omission.
He said,
“We have Cole and Levi not in the session. Enzo not in the session. Romeo not in the session. Three, four players who are a doubt because of the last game. Cole, the ankle in the first half. He didn’t train today. The same situation for Enzo, Romeo, and Levi.”
Chelsea have been in poor form in their last five games in the league, picking up just three points in the available 15 points against Crystal Palace, Everton, Ipswich, Fulham and Bournemouth. However, the supporters of the club will hope that they can bounce back when they host Wolves at Stamford Bridge on January 20, 2025.
