Como are in the market for a goalkeeper and could make a decision within the next few days. After evaluating Kevin Trapp, the latest developments concern Iñaki Peña, born in 1999 and out of contract with Barcelona.
Following Barcelona’s recent moves – including the contract extension of Wojciech Szczesny, the homegrown shot-stopper has asked to leave the club. Two teams, one from Spain and one from Turkey, are already in the mix. However, in a surprise twist, Como have entered the race, with full backing from Cesc Fabregas.

Iñaki Peña could leave Barcelona for ComoPeña, 26, signed for the youth system of Barcelona in 2012 at the age of 13. He has remained with the Catalan giants since, aside from a loan spell with Galatasaray in the 2021-22 season.
