If you have Fizz home internet in Quebec, you can now get TV plans included for as low as $7 per month.
There are multiple plans, and they all come with 23 basic channels, but the higher the price, the more custom channels you can add. The basic 23 channels include CTV, CBC, Global, The Weather Channel, APTN and a few more. Outside of the basic channels, there are around 100 other channels to choose from.
The most expensive plan is $25 per month and allows you to add 20 custom channels. You can download the Fizz TV app on Android, Android TV, iOS, Apple TV, Fire TV, and soon, Roku.
Fizz recommends that you have an internet plan with at least 30 Mbps to make sure that you can efficiently stream your TV shows. This is the speed of Fizz’s basic plan, which costs $39 per month. If you already have a Fizz account, you can activate the TV instantly.
Fizz launched TV in beta in early 2024 for $2 per month, but now that the beta is over, those customers will be transitioned to the new prices if they continue their services.
As of early 2025, Fizz’s home internet plans are only available in Quebec, so you can only get the TV plans in that province. Fizz has been steadily expanding its smartphone plans beyond Quebec, so perhaps its internet will come to more provinces at a later date. While it’s not as cheap, Fizz’s sister brand, Freedom Mobile, also has some affordable home internet plans for as low as $39.
