Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has thrown hot shade at supporters of social media critic VeryDarkMan (VDM), claiming that out of his over 2 million followers, less than 30 people showed up for the #FreeVDM protest.

I a cheeky Instagram post. Uche didn’t hold back, calling the turnout “embarrassing” and questioning the loyalty of VDM’s so-called fans.

In other news….. Tension rose during the #FreeVDM protest as popular influencer Jojo of Lele was reportedly locked inside the premises of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The protest, held in support of activist VeryDarkMan, drew several supporters to the EFCC office demanding his release.

Jojo of Lele, who had gone to lend her voice to the cause, allegedly found herself unable to exit the compound after gaining access.

The incident sparked outrage on social media, with many calling out the EFCC for what they described as an attempt to silence peaceful protesters.

Videos and photos from the scene quickly went viral, adding fuel to the ongoing online campaign for VeryDarkMan’s freedom.
