Going into free agency, the New Orleans Saints were set to lose some important players. Paulson Adebo and Chase Young led this group, and with a big transition happening on the Saints’ defense, somehow bringing back at least one of these players should be a goal of this team. Losing Adebo will have a massive impact on this defense. With Kool-Aid Mckinstry on the outside and Alontae Taylor probably being moved back to slot corner, New Orleans must sign or draft a new boundary cornerback. Looking in more of a positive light, the Saints can now use this potential contract money in other places, and they will get a comp pick in the 2026 draft due to losing Adebo.
