Super Eagles forward player, Gift Orban is reportedly set to join Bundesliga side, Hoffenheim during the January transfer window.
Transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on his official X account on Thursday., December 19, 2024. According to the Italian, Hoffenheim are already in advanced talks to bring Gift Orban to Germany as they look to solidify their team before the end of this season.
“Hoffenheim are in advanced talks to sign Gift Orban as a new striker from Olympique Lyon. Negotiations underway. @MatteMoretto. The agreement is considered close as they’re most concrete team working on a deal with OL, despite links with Turkish clubs too.”
He is expected to leave Lyon after failing to secure a regular playing berth at the club. He was signed for around €14 million from Belgian Pro League club, KAA Gent in January 2023.
