Abuja-based lawyer and former counsel to singer, Speed Darlington, Stan Alieke, has appealed to single men to have a solid source of income before they get married.
According to him, a broke husband is one of the causes of divorce. He shared this post on his Instastories.
He wrote: “ “This might sound insensitive but as a guy, if you are not financially stable don’t think of getting married – don’t let society pressure you into marriage, it’s better to marry late than to marry as a struggling guy – you’ll see shege. One of the leading causes of divorce after infidelity is that the guy is broke; in fact, ladies tolerate a cheating husband more than a broke man. Being financially stable doesn’t mean you’ll have all the money but at least have a solid source of income.”
