Netflix held its latest Tudum event in Los Angeles this evening, revealing all kinds of news about several of its most anticipated movies and shows.
The full two-hour show can be viewed on Netflix, and it includes a variety of special guest appearances and even performances from Lady Gaga and Indian hip-hop artist Hanumankind. But if you want a quick overview of some of the biggest announcements, here they are:
Squid Game (Season 3)
Netflix showed off the main trailer of the popular South Korean drama series ahead of its third and final season in June.
In this last season of Squid Game, Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) continues his fight against the Front Man (Lee Byung-hun).

Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery
We got a sneak peek at writer-director Rian Johnson’s third Benoit Blanc mystery-comedy, as well as a December 2025 release date.
In addition to Daniel Craig reprising the role of Blanc, Wake Up Dead Man‘s new ensemble cast includes Josh O’Connor (Challengers), Josh Brolin (No Country for Old Men), Glenn Close (Fatal Attraction), Jeremy Renner (The Town), Cailee Spaeny (Warfare) and Kerry Washington (Scandal).
Premiere date: December 12, 2025
One Piece (Season 2)
Alongside a new trailer, Netflix confirmed that Mikaela Hoover (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3) has been cast in the role of Tony Tony Chopper. On top of that, series stars and Straw Hat members Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero and Taz Skylar took to the Tudum stage.

The Rip

A stream-exclusive look at this crime thriller about from Joe Carnahan (The Grey) was shown off. Stars Matt Damon (The Departed), Ben Affleck (The Town), Steven Yeun (Beef) and Teyana Taylor (A Thousand One) also made appearances.
The film follows a group of cops who discover millions in cash in a derelict stash house, leading them to question everything.
Premiere date: January 16, 2026
Frankenstein
Oscar-winner Guillermo del Toro (The Shape of Water) and stars Oscar Isaac (Ex Machina) and Mia Goth (X trilogy) took to the stage to show off their vision of the classic Frankenstein story. Euphoria‘s Jacob Elordi stars as the titular scientist’s monster.
Notably, the film was shot in both Edinburgh and Toronto.

Happy Gilmore 2
From director Kyle Newacheck (What We Do in the Shadows) comes this highly-anticipated sequel to Adam Sandler’s 1996 classic. Christopher MacDonald (Shooter McGavin from the first film) and Julie Bowen (Modern Family) also took to the Tudum stage.
Premiere date: July 25, 2025
Stranger Things (Season 5)
At long last, Netflix’s flagship series is coming back, and stars Millie Bobby Brown, Vancouver-born Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin spoke about it during Tudum.
The premiere date was confirmed alongside the first trailer.

Wednesday (Season 2)
Netflix closed out Tudum with a look at the second season of one of its most popular shows. Returning stars Jenna Ortega Luis Guzmán, Fred Armisen and Isaac Ordonez and series newcomer Joanna Lumley took to the stage and then the first six minutes of Season 2 were shown.
The show closed with the announcement that Lady Gaga will guest star in the new season. She then performed a couple of songs.
