The mother of popular Nigerian chef Hilda Baci has proudly announced her daughter’s upcoming attempt to cook the world’s largest pot of Jollof rice on September 12, 2025.
In a TikTok video shared by Hilda, her mother revealed that the massive 6×6 meter pot, standing over a meter high, will feed 10,000 people. Excitedly, she praised Gino for supporting the event and declared her daughter’s effort as historic.
Hilda, deeply moved, thanked her mother for being her biggest cheerleader and lifelong source of inspiration.
Hilda Baci’s mother revealed that her daughter plans to cook the world’s largest pot of Nigerian Jollof rice on September 12, 2025, aiming to feed 10,000 people.
She said the pot will measure 6×6 meters wide, 1.1 meters high, and 1.3 meters thick.
In her own words, Hilda’s mother said: “What is going on, are you current? Do you know what is going on on the Internet? Are you aware that Hilda Baci is going to break another record with the help of Gino?”
“You know Gino truly cares. This is going to be taking place on the 12th of September, Hilda will be cooking the biggest pot of Nigerian Jollof rice.”
“I’m talking about 6 by 6 meters wide, 1.1 meters high, and 1.3 meters thick. I’m talking about a kind of pot that’ll be feeding 10,000 people—who does that? Come 12th of September, Hilda will be getting it done with the help of Gino.”
Hilda, clearly moved by her mother’s support, shared the video on her own page, expressing her gratitude. She wrote: “Guys!! This morning I woke up to the sweetest surprise from my mum 😭❤️ She went all out: printed shirts, teamed up with a content creator, and came up with her own unique way to promote me.”
