Addressing critics online, Rahamat revealed she once battled depression and won’t let negativity affect her peace or personal choices.

“Only those who are close to you and cares will understand your pain and journey and they are the only ones who will appreciate what makes you happy. But those who are far, who doesn’t know you and even never cared to know are the ones that will talk and even dictate to you how to live your life,” she wrote.

“Those who are close to me knows that on a normal, I’m not stubborn but when you are seeing me from afar, you don’t know me, we have never had any conversation and you never cared to know how I got to where I am, and then booooom you want to judge me, dictate for me and suppress my emotions? Sorry I will have to be a little bit stubborn here cuz depression is real.

“I have been traumatized and depressed before that I almost lost my life and I’m not ready to go through that again! not now not anymore and not for any reason!!

“These past weeks has been challenging back to back and it brought back past unpleasant memories that’s almost draining and getting me depressed again but moving forward, I won’t allow it.
