This coming Saturday at UFC 318, Kevin Holland returns to the Octagon for his fourth fight already this year, when he takes on Daniel Rodriguez.

Since joining the premier promotion, ‘The Trailblazer’ has been one of the most active fighters on the roster, and this year, he is looking to break the record for the most fights in a calendar year.

In 2020 Holland fought five times, equalling Jim Miller’s record for the most in one year, and included in those five fights was a huge blockbuster KO win over Joaquin Buckley.

“Kevin Holland is talented as f—, when he puts it together, he’s got crazy power. That long whip Tommy Hearns style power, bam! When he knocked out Buckley with that straight right, woo, woo!” Rogan began to explain.

“When he knocked out Jacare (Souza) from his back. I think he does (take his career seriously), I think he struggles with real strong wrestlers like Khamzat (Chimaev) but then he made that crazy agreement to just have a kickboxing fight (against Stephen Thompson).

“Like, do you understand what you’re saying? Like are you stupid? If you don’t give any threat to Wonderboy that you’re gonna take him down, and Wonderboy gets to do that Karate s—- on you, that’s a f—— nightmare,” Rogan continued.

Kevin Holland and Daniel Rodriguez were booked to fight before disaster struckHolland and ‘D-Rod’ will finally get to fight each other in Louisiana this coming Saturday, as they have been scheduled to fight previously but disaster struck just hours before the event.

The two were scheduled to fight at UFC 279, which was supposed to be headlined by Khamzat Chimaev vs Nate Diaz. A few days before the event, chaos ensued as Chimaev and Holland were involved in a brawl backstage at the press conference, resulting in a cancellation.

And then on weigh-in day, Chimaev missed weight by an obscene amount which resulted in fights being moved around and Holland was subsequently put in to fight ‘Borz’.
