Following in Fido’s footsteps, Koodo has reworked its $44 and $54 bring-your-own-device (BYOD) plans, but don’t worry — they’re still solid deals.
We recommend the $44 option to most people since it includes 60GB of data. However, if saving money is your top priority, there is also a new, cheaper $39 plan with 20GB. If you need even more data, the $54 plan is also a fair price and includes 80GB.
Notably, these prices are $1/mo cheaper than what they were earlier this week.
Take note that all Koodo’s plans come with 4G speeds, which can go up to 100Mbps, which again is more than enough for most mobile data users. The plans also come with a Koodo perk, which could include premium voicemail, unlimited international SMS, rollover data or unlimited long-distance calling.
Koodo is owned by Telus, so if you’re worried about coverage in your area, you should be able to access the internet anywhere Telus or Bell operate.
Koodo and the other flanker brands like Fido have been reworking their plans a lot lately and while the changes are pretty minuscule, it’s hard to nail down if this will be the best deal. That said, the current best deals are from Freedom Mobile and Public Mobile, which are both offering 60GB plans for $39 with free roaming in North America.
