Premier League champions Liverpool host FA Cup winners Crystal Palace on the final day of the season on Sunday.
The Reds have been in fine form for much of the campaign and were confirmed as champions with a 5-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur in April, but they have since picked up just a single point from their past three games.
Last time out Arne Slot’s side were beaten 3-2 by Brighton and Hove Albion, and the Dutchman will want to see his side return to winning ways and finish a successful season on a high.
In the meantime, it has emerged that the Merseyside giants are working on a deal to sign a new full-back.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool are edging closer to finalising a deal to sign Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez.
Romano claims that talks between the two clubs are currently going well, with Liverpool in pole position to land the Hungarian this summer.

Kerkez, 21, joined the Cherries from Dutch side AZ Alkmaar in 2023 and has since played 73 times for the south coast side across all competitions, providing eight assists.
Since arriving in England he has established himself as one of the best left-backs in the top flight, but his impressive form has attracted interest from the champions.
Romano claims that personal terms will not be an issue with Kerkez himself keen on the idea of a move to Liverpool.
He also suggests that talks have so far gone well, with it possible that an agreement could be reached in the near future.
Kerkez is contracted to Bournemouth until the end of the 2027/28 campaign, but it appears increasingly likely that he will be on his way to Merseyside before the start of next term.
